The Escaped Gladiator

During the long night he escaped; fleeing the gladiatorial pits of La Ciudad de los Maestros along with several others. The jungles changing even as they ran, resting in a short tree one night may mean climbing down hundreds of feet the next. All the while knowing they would come for you.

They always came for the fighters.

Making their way north he survived in the wild for years with the other fighters. Following the coastline, they survived over a decade in the wild. However, fate did catch up. Caught again but it wasn’t to La Ciudad, this time he was drug to the pits of Dor-E’an.

Slavers sent out from this accursed twilight city. They forced him back into the arenas after years of freedom; Gladiator again. This could not last. Freedom has teased him for so many years. It was less than a year in Dor-E’an before he escaped his new master.

They are coming.
